Ted_Lavie's Week 11 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Purdue 0 - Imagine losing by 16 in Nebraska and still keeping #1. Crazy week
UConn +2 - Congrats on not losing this week
Kansas -1 - Losing at UCF is not top 3 worthy. But they bounced back nicely against OU
North Carolina +1 - Solid week for UNC. I think they're firmly a top 2 seed right now
Tennessee +1 - Went 1-1 in two tough road games against possible tourney teams. Can't win all of those.
Houston -3 - I still think Houston is a very good team. But they're 1-2 in B12 play and their best win is over Dayton or Utah
Arizona +1 - I suppose they had a better week than Marquette?
Wisconsin +8 - I've been impressed by their week and their overall play in the B10. They seem to have found their groove
Kentucky +3 - You can't win every conference game and there are worst things than losing in OT in College St. But their defense is worrying
Marquette -3 - We saw last year that a slump in January to open conference play isn't the end of the world. But Marquette needs to fix things
Memphis -1 - I've been more impressed by UK losing in OT @ TAMU than by Memphis winning in OT against UTSA. They play down to their competition which isn't great in this American
Baylor +5 - Great home & home week for Baylor. They're starting to answer some of the questions I had on them.
Auburn +6 - Playing like a top 10 team right now.
Illinois -5 - Really disappointing against Maryland. I thought Illinois was trending up - now I'm not sure
Oklahoma -4 - I won't be too alarmed by two losses against what I have as top 25 teams. But I'll keep an eye on OU as I already had my doubts
Clemson -3 - Keep struggling on D. They do have 3 wins against what I have as top 25 teams OOC, but their ACC play has been subpar so far
BYU -3 - Got their first B12 win in UCF (not that easy, just ask KU). Similarly to OU, I'm not entirely sold on them just yet
Duke +4 - I still have a lot of questions left with Duke
Ole Miss +2 - I think this Ole Miss is getting underrated right now. They haven't had the toughest schedule but they have some decent wins under their belt.
Colorado State -2 - They've struggled on the road in MWC so far. But this might be the best MWC we've seen in a while so as long as they keep in clean at home and against the bottom MWC teams, they'll be fine
Grand Canyon -1 - They won in the WAC
South Carolina -7 - Got smashed by Bama but they did what they needed to in Mizzou even though it wasn't pretty
Alabama NR - I've been a Bama doubter for a while now. Not anymore.
Dayton NR - With St Joseph faltering, they can't afford more than a couple of div losses imho
TCU NR - Went from a play in team to a top 25 one for me. What a week they had.

Overall Rationale

Missed the cut: Nevada (out), Miss St, SDSU (out), Utah St, Princeton /// Out: Providence
