MAFIAxMaverick's Week 12 Ballot

RankTeamReason
UConn Strong win in Philly against a tough Villanova team. Best team in the country right now.
Purdue Could they beat UConn? Absolutely. The 1b team in my eye.
North Carolina Have been dominant to open ACC play.
Tennessee It's back and forth between Tennesse and Kentucky for best team in the SEC. Fun race to follow.
Houston Cougs are back to their winning ways after two dominant wins.
Kentucky See Tennessee
Arizona Back to playing good team basketball. Lots of losses to boost them up this week.
Auburn Undefeated to start SEC play with some dominant wins. They will be competitive for the SEC title.
Illinois TSJ is back in the lineup and made an immediate impact.
Kansas Loss against a weak WVU team.
Duke Split the matchups against Pitt this year. Still on the up and up from their early season form.
Wisconsin Tough loss against Penn State mid-week.
Oklahoma A win away over a good Cincy team. Sooners continue to surprise me this year.
Marquette Still shaky - but picked up two wins in a week where the Top 25 looked rough.
Baylor Sometimes this looks like the most dominant squad in the country. Other times it's the opposite.
Utah State Tough loss against New Mexico. Still on top of their conference with the ability to pull away.
Memphis Two tough losses this week.
Creighton Dismantled by UConn, but beat a good Seton Hall team. Big East is going to be a battle.
Dayton Undefeated since their loss to Houston in November. Flyers are flying under the radar with a great campaign.
Colorado State Two wins to climb back toward the top of the MWC.
Florida Atlantic Top of the conference. Seem to have bounced back. Still a few losses away from losing At-Large chances.
Iowa State 22-24 is a toss-up between the three teams there.
BYU 22-24 is a toss-up between the three teams there.
Texas Tech 22-24 is a toss-up between the three teams there.
Seton Hall A close loss to Creighton, but playing well to open the Big East.

Overall Rationale

San Diego State has a claim to the Top 25 this week as well. I do think Seton Hall is better.
