Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Purdue | Tough loss on the road. IU is rounding into form. |
| Alabama | |
| Tennessee | |
| Houston | |
| Texas | |
| Kansas | Best team in the country on my metrics. When Dajuan Harris is scoring, they sure look it. |
| UCLA | |
| Virginia | Cassell is cursed for them. My metrics also really don't like this team. |
| Iowa State | |
| Kansas State | |
| Xavier | Will be underrated due to the absence of Freemantle. Hunter is more than capable, though. |
| TCU | |
| Marquette | Fun factor off the charts with this team. Kolek is a wizard. |
| Baylor | |
| Saint Mary's | Huge win in Moraga. My metrics still don't like them, but the big boy computers sure do. |
| Indiana | Massive win over Purdue. IU has proven they belong. |
| Rutgers | Great on the numbers, great on defense, and an incredible home court advantage at the RAC. |
| Gonzaga | Actually played pretty well against SMC. They will compete for WCC crown. |
| Iowa | Playing lights out lately. McCaffrey's absence may have been a blessing in disguise for this bunch and he's integrated back in well. |
| Providence | UConn and Marquette are solid wins, SLU is their only bad loss. |
| Illinois | Showed well at Iowa, but I still feel like I pushed them too high last week. |
| West Virginia | Tough league, so bad record, but WVU is great on my metrics and real metrics. Trip to the dentist to play. |
| UConn | What is there to say about this team anymore? Next 4 will be a huge test. |
| Missouri | One of the best teams in the country at home. Need to win games on the road to move up. |
| Florida Atlantic | Florida win looks good, and they've only lost 2 games all year. |
