Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Auburn | Clear #1 |
| Duke | Clear #2 |
| Alabama | If i could not rank anyone else top 5 I would, but I guess Alabama has a better resume than every other team from what I can tell |
| Tennessee | Great win, I suppose they are a quality team, but I wouldn't trust them (or anyone but Auburn/Duke atm) in March |
| Houston | OT loss I guess is the best loss of the week for the 4-10 group, so they don't fall much |
| Purdue | Great job not losing |
| St. John's | Great job not losing? I don't know how to rank a lot of these teams, but at least St. John's doesn't have a recent bad loss |
| Michigan State | Tough loss, but better than many other teams around here |
| Marquette | Well, they lost. But at least it was somewhat close? and to a good team? |
| Florida | Decimated, but its by a very good team, so slightly better |
| Texas A&M | They keep winning |
| Maryland | This is probably very high for Maryland, especially seeing that the AP poll hasn't even ranked them, but I really think they are currently doing better than the teams below them |
| Iowa State | What a terrible week for Iowa State, I don't want to drop them too hard, but I also may not be dropping them hard enough. Hopefully for their sake its a fluke and doesn't continue, but i don't know... |
| Texas Tech | Begrudgingly I have to start taking TT seriously |
| Arizona | Great win over Iowa State, but it may be a little overshadowed by the fact that ISU then got stomped by KSU. This team changes on however Love is playing. |
| Missouri | Couple good wins means they jumped up a good bit |
| Wisconsin | Loss to Maryland isn't too bad, which is basically how I have to rank teams at this point |
| Kentucky | Very odd flip flopping of the expected result, but I guess they're doing ok |
| UConn | Just as I unrank them they do something good. I guess they'll be in the low teens for a little while unless something crazy happens (not actually that unlikely looking at how the season has gone) |
| Kansas | Choked a 21 point lead to Baylor, got back up 10, and choked it again AFTER VJ went out! Robert Wright III is him though so its somewhat understandable |
| Memphis | Keep beating those non-top 100 teams, better than Louisville at least |
| Illinois | Nebraska isn't good, you can't be losing to them (I also dropped Oregon off because of their loss to Nebraska) |
| Mississippi State | Bad losses, don't think I should drop them all the way off though |
| Saint Mary's | I do not think they will do anything in the tournament, but they are clearly the best in the WCC imo |
| Baylor | IDC ROB WRIGHT IS HIM! As long as VJ is fine I truly think we'll bounce back this season. Although I did see him limping a lot today, so i'm really hoping he's fine. |
ROB WRIGHT IS THAT GUY Done 2-2 at midnight (so technically 2-3) BAYLOR IS GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL
