MAFIAxMaverick's Week 15 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Purdue Zach Edey hates IU
UConn Continues to dominate the Big East. They should have the regular season title wrapped up.
Houston Teams in front of them lost.
Marquette Tyler Kolek....when he is on he's on. Marquette still getting destroyed on the boards. Not good for the postseason.
Arizona Two single digit losses in the last few weeks w/ dominant wins.
Kansas Tough loss on the road against a rival with a strong follow-up performance.
North Carolina Tough loss to a Clemson team fighting for it's life after that emotional win against Duke. Looked vulnerable against Miami.
South Carolina Could the Cocks win the SEC? Yes. Tough schedule to finish out.
Tennessee A dogfight for the top of the SEC.
Duke Followed-up the loss to North Carolina with dominant wins over Notre Dame and BC.
Auburn Right up there in the mix for the SEC title. I think it's the most competitive conference this year. Just above MWC.
Alabama Inconsistent but fun to watch. Contenders.
Baylor A week where Baylor looked very pedestrian. I still think this is one of the most talented teams in the country with crazy hot/cold streaks.
Illinois Tough loss to MSU, but I still believe in this Illinois squad.
Iowa State Playing well in a season that I did not expect them to do so.
Indiana State May be a mid major....but they keep winning when majors are losing all around them.
Grand Canyon See above.
Virginia Is Virginia back? An 80 POINT OUTING?! IN THIS TONY BENNET ERA?! 8 in a row and a game behind UNC for the ACC. Cavs seem inevitable.
Saint Mary's Undefeated in conference play means something in the WCC, even if Gonzaga is having a down year.
Utah State Still atop the MWC after a couple of losses in recent weeks. This conference has been a treat to watch.
San Diego State Only a game out of first place. Probably the most talented team in the MWC on paper. Undefeated at home and close to .500 on the road is good.
Kentucky Down year for Kentucky, sure. But I don't know how anyone can be talking about Calipari on the hot seat.
Dayton A very winnable final stretch in conference play.
Nevada Two wins against ranked teams this week. Up the Wolf Pack.
South Florida FAU is probably better than them. But USF is at the top of the conference with a month left to play. So screw it. Bulls!

Overall Rationale

If there's one thing I've learned in my first year of being a reddit pollster it's that I have no idea how people do this for the AP. It's hard! It's fun! Wisconsin, New Mexico (was pulling for them), BYU, and FAU out. Virginia, SMC, Nevada, and USF in!
