Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Houston | They keep winning, they’ll stay at 1. Memphis was oh so close |
| UCLA | W streak, huge win vs Zona, March experience. Scary team |
| Kansas | Lack consistency but at their best they might be the best team still. |
| Alabama | Haven’t been overly impressive lately, stay as 1 seed for now |
| UConn | Criminally underranked by everyone else imo |
| Marquette | Playing pretty well but can’t give up 94 in March |
| Purdue | Edey POY, still really think the rest of the team is a major question mark |
| Texas | 1 of the most battle tested teams in the country. 11-8 vs Q1 |
| Gonzaga | Why we playing Chicago State |
| Arizona | Loaded team but have to play defense |
| Baylor | Similar to Texas, 11-9 vs Q1 |
| Texas A&M | On an absolute tear. Great defense + Taylor IV is a bucket |
| Virginia | Just not that impressive tbh, but defense wins championships |
| Kansas State | Yo-yo team, up and down |
| Miami (FL) | No Pack, no problem. If Pack is back they’re dangerous |
| Tennessee | Injury to Ziegler will hurt, gotta adjust quickly |
| Saint Mary's | How do you not play a game all week |
| San Diego State | Tough loss but still best team in 1 of best conferences |
| Xavier | Some nice wins this week but don’t fully trust them w/out Freemantle |
| Missouri | Admittedly need to watch more of them but W’s are there |
| Creighton | Lack of depth will continue to be an issue |
| Duke | Not sure how much I trust them but opposite of Creighton, they have great depth |
| Oral Roberts | All I have to say is 15 straight W’s (shoutout Toledo), 28-4 |
| Michigan State | Playing well when it matters, great length a handful of good-great scorers |
| Providence | Tough to pick last few teams, Providence is more consistent. |
Just missed: Indiana, FAU, Kentucky, Charleston, Utah State, TCU, Toledo
