bkervick's Week 18 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Houston -- The top 3 took care of business.
Purdue --
UConn --
Tennessee -- 2 great wins this week brings them closer to the Big 3.
Arizona Up 2. Light week, but 2 wins.
North Carolina Up 3. Took care of business at home, if a bit uninspiring in the margins.
Marquette Down 1. Tough loss at Creighton, but hung tough without 2 best players.
Iowa State Up 2. 2 pretty good performances this week, always good to go 2-0 in B12.
Illinois Up 3. Defense left something to be desired this week, but they sure can score.
Kansas Down 5. Double loss week, one at home against a team not great on the road. McCullar came back at least.
Alabama Down 3. At Ole Miss is good win, but home losses are not great if you want to be a top 10 team.
Creighton Up 1. 2 nice wins this week, though they were helped by roster luck on Sat.
Duke Up 1. Dominated a slumping Virginia team and took Louisville to the woodshed, both at home.
Baylor Up 1. 2 really nice wins.
Auburn Down 4. Played well at Tennessee, but couldn't get it done on the road. Dropped more than I think is fair, but good teams winning behind them and their resume is worse.
San Diego State Up 1. Easy week.
Utah State Up 1. Easy week.
Kentucky Up 3. Scored 202 points in 2 games this week,
Saint Mary's Down 3. Home loss to Zags in a game that meant nothing for them. But home loss is a home loss.
Washington State Up 2. 2 home wins against the Socal teams keeps them in 1st in the Pac.
South Carolina Up 4. 2 wins keeps their groove going in SEC. Still up at 11th in WAB.
BYU New. A win at AFH and really strong comeback against TCU.
Gonzaga New. 2 Q1 wins in the week by real nice margins. Their WAB now compares to their predictive rankings.
Dayton Down 4. Tough loss in a fun game against Loyola.
Florida Down 6. Not a bad loss, but not a good win either. Jumped by the new arrivals.
