| San Diego State | LW: 21 (+4) Boise is a quality win, so they move up a few extra slots |
| Dayton | LW: 22 (+4) Like the SMU win, bump up a few spots for a stronger out of conference game |
| Alabama | LW: 19 (-) |
| Michigan | LW: 23 (+3) |
| Texas Tech | LW: 24 (+3) |
| Texas A&M | LW: 25 (+3) |
| Illinois | LW: NR |
| UC Irvine | LW: NR ... This team has a recent history of producing winning seasons and this victory over Oregon, while surprising, isn't the most shocking upset ever. |
| Grambling State | LW: NR ... Grambling beat Colorado, who beat Tennessee. Grambling > Tennessee for the last spot |
Dropped: Tennessee (10), Villanova (16), Oregon (20); Others considered: Tennessee, Davidson, Michigan State, UConn, Purdue and Miami. Tennessee probably should have stayed in, but there's many weeks left and chances are Grambling will likely be out next week. Michigan State was very close to making it as well despite the Gonzaga loss. Not a lot to add for most of these teams as it's way too early still.
