verdenvidia's Week 2 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Houston +1 This is my pick to win it all.
Gonzaga +1 looked great against a likely-solid Michigan State team
North Carolina -2 looked shaky against two opponents they should've blown out - they still won though so I didn't drop them off the 1-seed line
Kansas +1
Duke +3 their opponents were bad but god damn it duke looks like classic duke
UCLA 0
Kentucky 0
Creighton +1
Texas Tech +1
Texas +3 Hot take -- I just loved what I saw. I think UTEP will be better than most other non-cons from other top teams and Texas handled them.
Baylor 0 The scoring is there but that defense is not what we're used to seeing from Baylor. They'll fix it quickly though
Arkansas 0
Alabama +3 Liberty tends to be pretty good recently, and the Tide Rolled right through them.
Indiana +5 I might've been low on them at the start. Time shall tell.
Dayton +3 Dayton looked pretty good against an SMU team that also tends to be pretty respectable.
Michigan -1 they survived a scare from Eastern Michigan which is alarming but maybe Emoni really was that good
Arizona 0
San Diego State +5 BYU is another "usually good" team. I feel like this win will age well.
Virginia +1
Tennessee -16 proooobably an overreaction but they lost to a team that's 1-1 against Q4. early seasons are wack
Michigan State NR Oh yeah. Up until whatever that last shot was I loved what I saw. Dancing with titans. Their schedule is brutal, let's see what they can do.
TCU -8 I still think they're good, but sheesh those games were ugly.
Illinois NR
Auburn NR didn't look great but should've had them ranked anyway, they're solid and had an immaculate second-half
Utah NR Pac-12 is consistently underrated and Utah gives me an interesting feeling. Too early to tell for so many teams.

Overall Rationale

In: Mich State, Illinois, Auburn, Utah Out: 21 Oregon, 22 Colorado State, 24 Wyoming, 25 Villanova Biggest movers: Tennessee 4>16, TCU 14>22, Indiana 19>14, SDSU 23>18 Next 5: dude ive got absolutely no idea but id put like MiamiU, Connecticut, VA Tech, St Louis, and you know what we'll see if Seton Hall is good again why not
