Thebballchemist16's Week 2 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Gonzaga There were a Few marquee matchups this week, and Gonzaga's beat down on Baylor has them solidly at #1 on my ballet
Kansas Kansas is deep. Time will tell if the UNC win holds up well, but its one of the other marquee wins in this early season
Auburn Auburn rockets into the top five by a convincing win over Houston, showing effecient offense and physical defense
Duke The drop in rankings does not reflect what Duke has done, but rather not done: play a notable opponent. Therefore they lead off the teams without a top 10 win.
UConn While Uconn also has no notable wins, until they show they don't belong in the top 5, they will remain a top 5 team.
Alabama An underwhelming win over AR state causes a slight slide, but Alabama is still a national championship contender
Tennessee Louisville's redemption may not yet be here, but a road win over an ACC team is as good a resume builder as you get this time of year.
North Carolina Speaking of road games... I am being a bit of a homer, but UNC had a chance to go to overtime at Kansas so I will view them in nearly the same tier.
Houston Likewise, Houston lost a close game to Auburn, but on a neutral court and by >1 possession.
Iowa State Iowa State slides for having only played kenpom #364 MVSU, so it is hard to judge them against the remainder of the top 10.
Arizona Not much to say about Arizona until they play a resume game.
Baylor The Gonzaga beat down was brutal, but its only 1 game so Baylor shouldn't slide too far.
Creighton 49 points.
Ohio State A convincing win over texas A&M currently puts THE osu at the top of the big 10.
Purdue [insert Big 10 indiana school] is right on Ohio State's heels in the big 10.
Indiana [insert Big 10 indiana school] is right on Ohio State's heels in the big 10.
Texas An unexpected upset causes a small slide for [insert SEC Texas school]
Texas A&M An unexpected upset causes a small slide for [insert SEC Texas school]
Illinois Not much to say about Illinois at this point in the season.
Kentucky Kobe Brea appears to be an elite edition in Mark Few's squad
Wake Forest [If WF loses to Michigan tomorrow, replace WF with Michigan here]
Marquette A smart choice to have Marquette in the rankings.
Michigan State Tom Izoo... Not much of a resume but no reason to drop them out of the rankings
UCF UCF has a resume win. They will be intriguing to watch going forward
New Mexico A win over UCLA puts new mexico into the rankings

Overall Rationale

This poll is very resume based. My current next 6 are Nevada, Rutgers, St. Johns, Arkansas, Cincinnatti and Pitt. I am filling this out Saturday night so my rankings do not reflect Sunday games.
