Rank | Team | Reason |
---|
| UConn | Didn’t start particularly well in either game but managed to cover with relative ease in both. Still the best schemed offense in major cbb |
| Gonzaga | There’s no more impressive way to start a season than what they did to Baylor, some of the defensive concerns look to be solved. |
| Auburn | Blitzed a feisty Vermont team and then beat Houston even with the negative headlines |
| Duke | The talent is very real and the team looks smooth as hell |
| Houston | No shame in losing to a great team this early in the season but had to drop them a bit because other teams impressed so much. |
| Alabama | So far they’ve been as advertised, a solid first 2 performances |
| Kansas | A top team but not quite the #1 I would say. Also the Storr situation is odd |
| North Carolina | Losing by 3 at Fogg Allen is nothing to sneeze at |
| Creighton | Kalk going for a near 50 ball is truly insane |
| Iowa State | Otz has got the boys cooking on both ends |
| Indiana | |
| Baylor | Both sides of the ball are a concern so far but they managed to score a marquis win against Arkansas and personally love the scheduling by Drew so far |
| Tennessee | Great road win against UL |
| Marquette | |
| Arizona | |
| Cincinnati | |
| Illinois | |
| Texas Tech | |
| St. John's | Pitino+athleticism is a great combo, this team is scary deep too |
| Michigan State | |
| Arkansas | I was too high on them buuuuuuut I still believe |
| Purdue | Losing Jacobsen is both huge and super unfortunate |
| Kentucky | |
| UCF | Idk if I fully believe in this but you should be rewarded for scheduling and winning a top 25 game on day 1, they also have plenty of talent |
| Saint Mary's | Death, taxes and SMC defense |
