| Rank | Team | Reason |
|---|---|---|
Gonzaga | Still have no reason to believe they aren't the best team right now
Auburn | Maui will be a massive test for Auburn, not to even mention they're playing Duke the week afterwards
Kansas | Their matchup against Duke in Vegas is gonna be must see TV
Houston | We'll see what Houston is really made of in Feast Week, but I think they'll handle Notre Dame easily at least. Can they stop Bama's offense though?
UConn | Maui winner jumps up to #1? Could easily see it for UConn and Auburn if either of them win
Tennessee | Massive win over Baylor, whether they're on fraud watch or not
Duke | Impressive road win over Arizona, who hasn't looked amazing but I think will end up alright
Kentucky | We haven't seen the best of UK yet, and that could honestly be terrifying for the rest of the league
Marquette | Arguably the most impressive win of the week. I had a feeling everyone jumped the gun on Purdue and that Marquette could beat them but I didn't think they would blow them out
Iowa State | Another team playing in Maui that has a chance to really turn some heads in Feast Week.
Alabama | Good win over Illinois but this team needs to improve defensively.
North Carolina | Ditto to ISU.
Purdue | As I said above, I knew everyone jumped the gun on Purdue after they beat Bama (who I was admittedly too high on to start the year), gonna be an up and down year for the Boilermakers.
Mississippi State | Mississippi State continues their campaign as the most under the radar SEC team with a good road win over a probably underrated SMU team
Illinois | Rough loss to Bama but I still think Illinois is gonna end up good.
St. John's | Similar case here, I think St. John's will be solid but they did lose convincingly to Georgia, who might also be pretty underrated
Cincinnati | Cincy just keeps climbing
Arkansas | They looked way better against Little Rock at times but still only won by 12 in the end.
Creighton | Kinda got manhandled on their own court against Nebraska, yikes. Cracks continue to appear in Creighton's armor (who else remembers UTRGV playing them close?)
Arizona | Completely folded against Duke's defense, I'm starting to question Arizona, especially after also losing against a Wisconsin team that I'm not sold on yet
Baylor | Officially on fraud watch, I mean they didn't even try to keep it close against Tennessee
Wisconsin | 7-0 is impressive but I have a feeling it's gonna end up being all smoke and mirrors for Wisconsin. Still have to rank them for winning the whole thing at Greenbrier though.
Florida | Not much to report about Florida but I'm starting to believe in them
Ohio State | Losing Aaron Bradshaw will definitely hurt OSU some but they have enough weapons (namely John Mobley) to remain competitive
Indiana | IU has a good roster but I still don't know if I believe in Woodson, we'll see how they fare against Louisville in Atlantis.
