riddledwithdoubt's Week 4 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Gonzaga --
Auburn --
UConn -woof-
Kansas +1) Time for their hardest test yet, will their big man's experience pay off?
Marquette +10) Shaka'n up my rankings! (I'm sorry I'll stop)
Iowa State --
North Carolina --
Kentucky --
Tennessee +1) Can't fault them for getting to play Virginia without Bennett and an exhausted Baylor. You can make a case for a top 5 resume this early in the season.
Duke +3) What a bounce back win. Now I'm back to expecting them to beat Kansas on a neutral court.
Houston -2) Small slide, just don't have anywhere good to put them. Can't wait for their game Tuesday against my preseason #1 to give them a case for moving a lot further up
Purdue -8) I knew I was too caught up in the moment...
Alabama -2) I've seen a lot of "Wow! 100 points despite nothing from Sears." I want to know, WHY was there nothing from Sears?
Wisconsin +9) Starting to see why postgame threads are filled with ref complaints. Is Tonje on his way to most hated all-american?
Baylor -3) They had to have been exhausted after going to 2OT. Would love to see that game played again with more rest.
Florida --
Cincinnati --
Arkansas --
Indiana +1)
Xavier +5 If they rise far enough maybe Wake will have a quality loss on its hands
Georgia n/a) Resume is there for now
Drake n/a) As a casual Bradley fan, this hurts to see yet again...but I can wish for two bid MVC?
Texas A&M n/a) I'm so torn between Ole Miss and A&M, but have to give the edge to the team who have faced significantly more challenging opponents despite that ugly UCF loss.
BYU n/a) Kevin Young has literally never lost
Pitt -6) Wisconsin is legit. That "arena" certainly wasn't, and neither were those refs.

Overall Rationale

Glad to finally have a reason to take Rutgers off the ballot. Nothing against my Jersey bros, but they have not looked sharp to start the year. Also not a fan of "best team on paper" factoring into ranking. That said, they obviously do have lots of talent and can easily work their way back into the top 25. Creighton on the other hand...might be extreme but at losing at home? To Nebraska? Maybe there's something I'm missing and Omaha is still home to mostly NU fans but got to drop them for now. On a personal note, I've never been afraid of big change week to week early in the season, but we're getting to the time where the jumps should be a lot smaller. A little mad at myself for skyrocketing up Purdue and now allowing myself to do the same with Marquette. If they come crashing down to earth after this I'll have learned my lesson
