Nacos2001's Week 5 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Auburn +2 I do not typically drop out my preseason #1, but this team is without a doubt in my mind the best team in the country right now.
Kansas -1 No slight to Kansas they are right there with Auburn, you could call them 1b. They've played an beat good competition, I just think Auburn is in a league of their own.
Marquette +4
Oregon NR Handled both Texas A&M and SDSU, then beat Alabama. This is an undefeated Oregon with a few strong wins already, without a doubt in my mind a top 5 team.
Tennessee +5 They get a boost from a lot of teams losing, but they are undefeated and are a top team.
Gonzaga -4 Tough loss to WVU, but they bounced back and this team is still solid in my opinion.
Iowa State -3 Only lost to Auburn, then beat Dayton and Colorado, no reason to begin to worry about this team.
Kentucky +1
Purdue +2
Wisconsin +5
Memphis NR Great showing in Maui, might be Penny's most talented team.
Alabama -4 Great win against Houston and just got past Rutgers, but they have looked horrible and losing Wrightse
Duke -1 Not going to ding them too much for losing to Kansas, so many teams around them lost a lot worse games.
Oklahoma NR Battle 4 Atlantis champion deserves a big bump into the top 15.
Florida NR This is more of a correction, my bad for not having them at least around 20 going into this week.
Arizona State NR Think this team might be sneaky good, not a lot of big power 5 wins, but they are beating really good mid majors and only barely lost to Gonzaga.
Houston -12 They might be my highest ranked 3 loss team, but they are being held up by preseason expectations. Their record is not good and they need to pick it up before conference play.
Baylor +0
Pitt NR This team is solid and without a doubt has cemented themselves as a true contender in the ACC.
Arkansas -4 Illinois is a solid team and just barely on the outside looking in on being ranked, maybe Arkansas isn't a top 20 team, but who knows.
Drake +3
Cincinnati +3 Need to play better teams, I think most are over ranking this team.
Michigan State -3 Tough loss to Memphis but they pick up wins over UNC and Colorado, so they don't drop too much.
Mississippi State -7 Bad loss to Butler.
Texas A&M -3 Loss to Oregon, but that doesn't seem like too bad of a thing right now, so they just hang in.

Overall Rationale

Dropped Out: UCONN(6), UNC(13), Indiana(14), Creighton(19), Arizona(21), Ohio St.(23) Don't typically do honorable mentions/teams that are close to being ranked, but SDSU and Dayton are definitely there. SDSU has played a tough schedule so they are right there and Dayton really impressed me in Maui, it just felt weird to have them jump in after a 1-2 week.
