Rank | Team | Reason |
---|
| Auburn | Best team in the league rn, not even a question. |
| Kansas | Outlasted Duke in a thriller. |
| Tennessee | No reason to not be high on Tennessee as of yet. |
| Gonzaga | Bad loss to WVU, but they’ve bounced back just fine |
| Kentucky | Screw Clash Peters |
| Duke | Freshmen mistakes cost them against KU, just as they did against UK, but Duke will be fine in the end |
| Marquette | Haven’t really played anyone since beating Purdue (except Georgia), still high on them for that though |
| Iowa State | Had a shot at jumping into the top 3 if they could’ve beaten Auburn |
| Purdue | Good showing in the Rady Children’s Invitational |
| Alabama | Beat Houston and Rutgers in close games but lose to Oregon? Oregon may just be better than anyone thought though |
| Houston | I’m starting to lose trust in this team. |
| Cincinnati | They just keep winning |
| Illinois | Dominated Arky, guess we know who the better Ivisic bro is |
| Florida | I was wayyyyyy too low on Florida before |
| St. John's | One of only like 2-3 good teams in the Big East at this point |
| Memphis | Metrics still hate Memphis but you’ve gotta rank them after getting to the finals in Maui |
| Oregon | Metrics aren’t favorable towards Oregon but they’ve definitely impressed me as of late |
| Dayton | Great showings in Maui, despite only winning once |
| Oklahoma | Won the Battle 4 Atlantis |
| San Diego State | Showed out against Houston and Creighton despite losing to Oregon |
| Louisville | Indiana may not be good but I was personally more impressed by their win over WVU. Great resolve by the Cards to come back and pull that one off. |
| North Carolina | The 2nd half comebacks are starting to wear thin for UNC. They need to figure out how to put a complete game together. |
| Wisconsin | Still not fully sold on Wisconsin, the metrics don’t like them, but they’re still undefeated |
| Pitt | Great win over OSU. Could see Pitt being a sneaky ACC title contender |
| West Virginia | 3 straight overtimes in Atlantis had to take a toll on them but I was pretty impressed with what I saw from WVU overall. The Mountaineers are back. |
