Equivalent-Yard3824's Week 5 Ballot

RankTeamReason
Auburn (+1) Dominant Maui performance earns the #1 seed.
Kansas (+3) Depth concerns a thing of the past after the squeezed out a win over Duke after losing Dickinson
Tennessee (+3) Easy road win over Louisville looking even better after this week's events.
Iowa State (+4) After a quiet start to their schedule, went toe to toe with the best team in the country for 40 minutes and followed it up with two solid victories.
Marquette (+6) Kam Jones for NPOY
Kentucky (+6) This week will tell us a lot more @ Clemson and Gonzaga
Purdue (+6) Road blip against Marquette the only blemish so far
Duke (-1) Growing pains as the Freshman are 0-2 in final possesions vs. top programs, big test against Auburn coming
Gonzaga (-5) Missing a guard scorer from being truly elite
Cincinnati (+6) Lackluster competition, but currently #1 in O EFG% and #1 in D EFG% which is insane.
Alabama (-1) Mark Sears is going to need to wake up at some point
Houston (-9) 0-3 now in close games, still trying to find that go-to guy that can win them a game without Shead
Wisconsin (+5) Neutral win over Pitt looking better and better, home win over Arizona looking more meh, but 8-0 and consistent
Florida (+6) Haven't been tested, but also haven't been tested winning all 8 by 13+
Baylor (+2) Blown out in their two biggest tests but strong wins over Ark and SJU, last non-con test comes this week at UConn
Oregon (+20) 4 straight Tier A wins with 2 top 25 upsets, Oregon bursts back into the national picture
Memphis (+8) The shotmaking from Haggerty and Hunter in Maui was just pure hoops, I loved it
Pitt (+10) One of the best true road wins of the season thus far taking down OSU in Columbus
North Carolina (-8) Trailed big at the half in all four of their major games, showed fight to claw back into them all, but it's a concerning trend
Dayton (+3) Really solid showing in Maui going to the buzzer against UNC and ISU before clowning a UConn team that had given up
Texas A&M (-6) Quality loss to Oregon in hindsight, the offense has been ugly but this team fights hard
Illinois (+11) This young team is finding it's footing and plays some really fun ball
Texas (-1) Kind of a bleh resume to this point, but the defense has been really impressive to start
Ole Miss (+13) Taking down BYU and losing at the buzzer to Purdue is a big win of a feast week for a previously untested Ole Miss squad
Michigan (+13) Out assisted Va Tech and Xavier 34-12 in their two dominant Neutral site wins

Overall Rationale

Next 5: Miss St, UConn, St. John's, Texas Tech, UCLA
