| 14 | Gonzaga | 2-1 in Maui is only going to carry them so far and the leash is starting to pull in |
| 15 | Oklahoma | So sorry for the Dillon Gabriel news, here's a top 15 vote |
| 16 | Kentucky | Probably should be lower, but I don't really think any of the teams behind them are better |
| 17 | Texas | Lost the only two games against real opponents and needed a buzzer beater to beat Kenny Payne. Cannot in good faith rank them any higher |
| 18 | James Madison | Folks, they're not booing, they're saying Duuuuuukkkkeeesssss |
| 19 | Texas A&M | 3 losses against good teams and 2 true road wins. I think they can win the SEC |
| 20 | Colorado State | I would've liked to see them win that game, but previous body of work is strong enough to hold after a 3 point loss to a team that is allegedly good |
| 21 | BYU | First away game and they lose. I'm not calling them frauds, but record may have been inflated |
| 22 | Wisconsin | They've won 3 games as outright underdogs, including the fighting Shaka Smarts |
| 23 | Duke | Like they're probably a top 20 talent team but they haven't beat aaaaannnyyyooonnnneee |
| 24 | Ole Miss | I don't really know how good they are but they haven't lost and that counts for something. |
