Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Tennessee | |
| Iowa State | |
| Florida | Very much rolling right now, look at the Gators! Winning every game buy double-digits thus far. |
| Auburn | |
| Kentucky | Gonzaga win was a good boost after that tough loss at Clemson. |
| Duke | |
| Alabama | Got a big win in Chapel Hill. |
| Houston | |
| Marquette | Up and down week after losing to Iowa State, picking up a win at home vs Wisconsin. |
| Gonzaga | |
| Purdue | |
| Kansas | Disaster week for the Jayhawks dropping a pair of games. |
| Oklahoma | Undefeated still, great stuff from the Sooners. |
| Texas A&M | |
| Ole Miss | |
| UConn | 3 loss UCONN has worked themselves back just outside the top 15. |
| Oregon | |
| Cincinnati | Weird loss to Villanova in my opinion but I still believe in the Bearcats. |
| Texas | |
| Michigan | Michigan kind of flew under the radar for me but they have picked up some nice wins. |
| Clemson | |
| Baylor | Falling to UCONN might not hurt as bad later as it does right now especially if UCONN continues to find its footing. |
| Arizona State | |
| Wisconsin | Not a good week for the Badgers either with another interesting week on deck. |
| Texas Tech |
I had to rush a little through this ranking on Sunday night, so it might not be the most well thought out but I think I did my best here. Some other teams that are rolling that I could (and maybe should've) put in here that got big wins were Missouri (8-1) after beating Kansas, UCLA (8-1) after beating Oregon, and Penn State (8-1) after beating Purdue, but I felt like Penn State's loss to Clemson ultimately pushes them out. Otherwise I think as I go along these teams get harder to rank due to these great non-con matchups.
