I wanted to drop teams more significantly than what I did, but there feels like there's just so many middling-but-good teams from 9-24 that I felt I couldn't drop Gonzaga, Baylor or UNC more than I did without making the whole thing seem ridiculous. Do I think Oklahoma, James Madison or BYU beats either of those prior three? I don't think so. Do the later deserve to be ranked higher than the previous three based on both record and poll inertia? Yes, IMO. Remember, I don't do power rankings, otherwise Duke would be top 10. I like to let the games sort it out lol.
