(+1) This is the best team in the country, on a war path to avenge their loss to Yale last year. As long as Broome stays healthy they should stay #1.
2
Tennessee
(-1) The win @ Illinois was the proof we all needed, but the wins Auburn has and in the fashion they've done it vaults them above the Vols.
3
Iowa State
(--) Only loss to Auburn and they are dominating on both ends of the floor.
4
Duke
(+2) Win over Auburn still their shining star but they've continued to dominate since as the FR continue to improve.
5
Florida
(+3) Still undefeated and picked up a win @ UNC behind their trio of guards that can fill it up. They don't defend but don't have too often with this scoring punch.
6
Alabama
(+1) They've struggled at times, especially defensively but still have an impressive resume.
7
Oregon
(+3) Not enough respect for a team that's beaten Bama, A&M and SDSU. Lost a tough one to UCLA but outside of that looking great.
8
Oklahoma
(+5) Listen, they just keep on winning. Do I legitimately think they're the 8th best team? No, but at some point you have to get some credit for going 12-0 so until proven otherwise they're up here.
9
Marquette
(-4) Lost @ Dayton which drops them a little but still looking like the Big East champs.
10
Kentucky
(-6) Blowout loss to Ohio St pumps the brakes on things a bit. They don't defend well so if shots aren't falling it's a problem.
11
Kansas
(+1) Up 1 just by virtue of others falling, hanging on to that win over Duke but are we sure they're good?
12
UConn
(+10) Hurley has found the right buttons to push to get this group playing much better ball.
13
Texas A&M
(+8) Wins over Tx Tech and Purdue push them forward, looking really good lately.
14
Houston
(-1) Want to see it against good competition. Still 0-3 in that regard but obviously a good team.
15
Baylor
(+8) Overall resume is not bad with losses to top teams and a couple nice wins as well.
16
Mississippi State
(NR) Massive win over Memphis puts them on the map.
